MIAMI, Fla. – October, 2017 – Brightline, the first privately funded express intercity passenger rail service in Florida, is readying for its anticipated launch by growing its leadership team. The company announced today that David Helfman, a veteran executive from the sports sales industry, has joined Brightline as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships. Helfman will lead the charge on identifying and generating corporate partnerships for Brightline's facilities.

Helfman has built a distinguished career in sports sales, most recently serving as the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Miami Dolphins. During his time with the Dolphins, Helfman generated more than $10 million in revenue and accomplished such feats as building the departmental strategy for the sale of five new luxury clubs and leading partnership sales efforts for the Miami Dolphins Foundation. Prior to the Dolphins, Helfman also served as the Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Miami Heat between 2008 and 2014 and as Marketing Solutions Manager for the Florida Panthers three years prior. His hospitality orientation and passion for people is well-suited for Brightline's customer-centric mission.
